A radio alarm clock, produced in response to the first year module 'Human Centered Design'. The outcome was a design that emotionally and physically engaged with the user, by carefully applying user semantics as well as form, colour, texture and detail to communicate to the user how the product should be used.
User testing and analysis provided an insight into the order, feel and coarseness of controls. For example, the main section of the body is used to select the main functions, and the inset wheel at the top provides for finer control, such as the volume.
